CHARLESTON, S.C. — Dylann Roof, the white man charged in the massacre of nine parishioners at a Charleston church, was assaulted Thursday by a black inmate at the South Carolina jail where he is being held, a law official said.
Charleston County Sheriff’s Maj. Eric Watson told the Associated Press that it happened outside Roof’s cell Thursday morning.

Most murderers are remanded pending their trial. This clown is safer in jail than he is out of jail.
The inmate should be punished. You can’t attack other prisoners and get away with it.

Reminds me of the pedophile ex-priest John Geoghan. He met his jailhouse justice courtesy of inmate Joseph Druce, who strangled and stomped Geoghan to death in his cell.

And they are usually only armed with pepper spray and a baton to boot. No guns, lest they get used against them.

The prisoner beat up Roof will spend a couple weeks in solitary but will be the Big Dog in the jail.
