If it was done after the fact, that would be mighty suspicious in itself. "My house burned to the ground, but look at this racist note I saved!"

FYI, I just heard that an arrest has been made in this case and it appears that it his home was set on fire by a racist (former) fire fighter. The man who was arrested was dismissed from the fire dept. a couple of weeks ago for failing his fire fighters tests. This creep needs to go to jail for a long time.

If the man’s guilty, then certainly. The FBI was involved in this investigation though, so I am leery of their competence.

The suspect has a Spanish last name: Jurado.
