With the political conventions behind them, Donald Trump and the Republican National Committee are scrambling to close their ground game gap with Hillary Clinton – boosting fundraising and concentrating on vital battlegrounds, even as some sources suggest they have a long way to go.
The campaign notoriously has lagged Clinton's in organizational strength, but faces the unavoidable reality that a ticket to the White House requires victory in key swing states like Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

I just sent some contributions to the Trump campaign, as a follow up to a phone call I received from them. This really is a critical election.

I got fundraising mail yesterday from “Donald Trump” and in reading it, came to find out it was money to assist the “commottee” (read that to mean RNC) I immediatly tore it up and tossed it out. I will not give one cent to the RNC...but I will dontate directly to Mr Trump! Rancid Prius and his RNC and RINO idiots can GTH.
HilLIARy has to spend money to organize her ‘ground game and even then no one shows up.
Trump needs to remark on how no one is at her rallies.
It costs her tons of money with no results.

He has no ground game. Maybe a whole lot fewer GOTV calls, mailers, and people knocking on your door will prove more effective in the long run. I find all of that extremely annoying.
I'd love to believe that, but EVERY poll shows Madam Benghazi getting a big permanent "bounce", meanwhile Trump is slandered by a raghead. Sure, I know how the polls are manipulated, but it's damn depressing, especially when the media shows the RINOs berating Trump.

I think Trump is going to win Fl and NC.
To me the big dollars and ground game needs to focus on OH, VA, CO, NH, IA, PA. He can win without PA, but it seems to be the most likely of the bigger blue states. I still don’t buy that FL, VA and NC are going blue permanently or anything of the sort. Hillary isn’t going to get the epic black/youth vote Obama did.
It’s purely demoralization game now.

It only takes a few machines in a few precincts of "swing states". They're just getting around to discussing "irregularities" - 127% voter turnout, absolutely no GOP votes, etc. from the 2012 election. The GOP "elite" must've been too busy with cocktail parties and happy hour to notice.
I don't see the GOP making ANY plans to ensure the election is fair, and as evidenced by the way Bernie was cheated, Madam Benghazi is just getting warmed up. The clintons are experienced in committing election fraud, dating back to their days in arkansas.
