I dunno...could be but I would guess there is as much female homosexual behavior in that society as there is male, for the same reasons - as a result of total sexual segregation.
I also believe that is why gays on the left, support Islam and increased Muslim immigration. A totalitarian run, completely sexually segregated world sounds great to them.
Look at Hillary and Huma for instance. Marriage is merely a business formality and means to a single child while their primary relationship is to each other.
