Obama is spouting Free Trade dogma and TPP on a live broad cast. Rush Limbaugh must have written his speech. I see no difference between Obama and the Free Trade cadre on Free Republic. No difference. All globalist, kumbaya.

Obama is not about “free trade.” He’s about central planning and “managed trade” - and also including all kinds of political, environmental, immigration, and social-engineering terms into so-called “trade agreements.”

Obama is free trader. Sounds just like a typical Free Republic Free Trader. Same same.
This explains why establishment Democrats and Republicans may disagree on the progressive income tax or on some social issues, but they march lockstep on free trade/outsourcing, open borders and amnesty, and "nation building" internationalist foreign policy. Their loyalty is to transnational agencies and corporations, not to the American nation-state.

I would honestly like to know how ‘free trade’ in Obama’s view is different than ‘free trade’ from the rank and file GOP view. And how it has benefited our once mighty middle class for the past 20 or so years.

We wouldn’t be in this “Free Trade Mess” had we followed the original INTENT of the constitution and only funded the federal government by Tariff and not by taxing it’s own citizens with an income tax...
Federal Funding via ONLY Tariff also makes sure the borders are enforced as the government will watch the borders because that is how they get THEIR monies...
