Yesterday the touchholes at the commission on presidential debates pretty much told Trump the dates were carved in stone.

Good one debate is plenty. Trump will likely have a good deal to say about the dates. Reince seems to be backing him up lately.
But...but...but then no one will watch the talking heads tell us what we just saw and heard.
Trump, as usual, is right, again.
The independents - who are a YUGE influence in this historic election - need to watch these debates. Many are also football fans.
Trump will bring in record number of viewers, over past years.
Change the dates.
HBO will probably offer free porn opposite the one remaining debate.

Do not make the mistake that many here at FR often make. Small 'i' independents in no way equal "undecided."
So called independents know who Hillary Clinton is and those who were adults in the Clinton error know how she governed as unelected co-president (holding closed door sessions on Hillarycare and firing the White House travel staff).
Hillary would love only one debate.
Dates don’t matter but audience and ‘questioners’ matter. Negotiation, negotiation...
There is a whole new crop of independents. I have friends/relatives in this mix :(
I’ve never understood independents, btw. :)
