‘I Was Just Joking’: Media Apoplectic as Khizr Khan Attack on Donald Trump Goes Down in Flames
Breitbart ^ | 8/1/2016 | MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 08/01/2016 4:57:15 PM PDT by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

Mainstream media figures from the New York Times to the Huffington Post to CNN are apoplectic Monday as their latest attack on Donald J. Trump, the Republican nominee for president, has crumbled yet again under the slightest bit of scrutiny.

Specifically, the newest line of attack to fall apart is the criticism of Trump over Khizr Khan, the Muslim Gold Star father who spoke at the Democratic National Convention last week.

Over the weekend and for the past few days since Khan spoke alongside his wife Ghazala Khan about their son, U.S. Army Captain Humayun Khan, who was killed in Iraq in 2004, media-wide reporters, editors, producers, and anchors have tried to lay criticism on Trump over the matter. They thought they had a good one, a specific line of attack that pitted Trump against the military—and supposedly showed him as a big meanie racist in the process.

But, as Breitbart News showed on Monday midday, that clearly was not the case. Khizr Khan has all sorts of financial, legal, and political connections to the Clintons through his old law firm, the mega-D.C. firm Hogan Lovells LLP. That firm did Hillary Clinton’s taxes for years, starting when Khan still worked there involved in, according to his own website, matters “firm wide”—back in 2004. It also has represented, for years, the government of Saudi Arabia in the United States. Saudi Arabia, of course, is a Clinton Foundation donor which—along with the mega-bundlers of thousands upon thousands in political donations to both of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaigns in 2008 and 2016—plays right into the “Clinton Cash” narrative.

Trump could have honored the son while dissing the father.

As in, “Your son was honorable, but a surprisingly high, and unacceptably high, percentage of wannabe immigrants are not.”

That would have been enough, especially now that we know Khan has high level Dem connections and is a Muslim immigration lawyer.

He did. It’s just selectively reported. The danger of this type of criticism. It’s going to be twisted around and meant to damage.

Well, this attack on Trump is utterly nonsensical. If your son was killed, why would you blame someone who had nothing whatsoever to do with it? Furthermore, why would you support someone who actually was complicit in creating the situation in which your son was killed?

Knowing the guy’s background helps one to understand the motives behind this guy’s bizarre attack on Trump. A) He is bought and paid for by Hillary, and B) he is a radical Muslim and no lie is too egregious when it comes to creating the caliphate.

The whole Khan incident is going to blow up right in Hillary’s face and Trump will benefit every day as long as the Khans’ name is in the news.

Stay on offense!

Trump called the son a "HERO", which ALL articles and the talking heads IGNORED!

And if Trump had followed YOUR completely stupid advice, Khan and the Clintons would NEVER have been exposed.

So, little nothing of a nobody, giving unwanted USELESS advice, I suggest that you refrain from posting your pathetic, extremely IGNORANT, "concern troll" crap.

Well, the fact that I said it shows that, as you have said, the reporting on this is Dem-party skewed. Even on FOX, Trump is taking a bit of a hit; everywhere else in MSM-world, he’s getting hammered by the running dogs of the Left.

Sure, the info on Khan is getting out on the Internet—his connections are how the Dems found him. That, and it was classic opposition research. But, that info is not in the MSM/FOX cluster.

What is an “Oppo dump?” It suggests something der Hildebeast would do when she had bad food. “Oh my gosh! She’s having an “Oppo dump!” Call 911! Get the hazmat team!”

But are people who don’t follow the news closely going to remember — or even hear — anything but the original story?

Well, you could read the reply I made to some others.

Your comments to me are pretty abusive, and if you’ve read other things I’ve written over the years, unwarranted.

I hope venting has made your day.

What this subversive Khan proves is that the typical Muslim is up for sale to the highest bidder. Yes, his son was killed in Iraq. But instead of expressing outrage at Hillary Clinton for VOTING FOR THE IRAQ WAR, a WAR TRUMP OPPOSED, Khan allowed the Clintons to buy him off with all kinds of financial goodies through their law firms, through their various political entities, and when they scripted him to wave his little $1 Constitution at the 'RAT convention attacking Trump, he did exactly what he was told.

Any REAL father, any father with integrity and a shred of dignity would have refused to have anything to do with the Clintons, who were instrumental in getting his son killed.

Khan and his wife are whores. And they're using their son's death to score cheap political points on behalf of the Clintons, they've become 'Dhimmis in Reverse'.

Yes, it's all over the net, NOW, but wouldn't be anywhere, if Trump was as bloody STUPID as you are.

And Trump is on Hannity's show tonight, so he'll start getting the truth ball rolling then.

Who cares? All of a sudden everyone in the media cares about Gold Star families? We're not at war with anyone - certainly not Islam.

Is Trump running against Clinton or the goofy looking MB family?

"Trump could have honored the son while dissing the father."

Trump, in a statement released Saturday by his campaign, called Capt. Khan "a hero to our country and we should honor all who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country safe."
