I just came across the story of the Murders on the Rock Bridge at St Louis,in 1991 when a young woman and her sister were murdered on the bridge. They had gone to the bridge to show a relative a poem about racial healing and racism the older sister had written in graffiti on the bridge. The young liberal girls believed in social justice and were raped and killed by a small gang of youths. Ah, the narrative is enhanced by the name of the gang leader who died in prison.
