Federal courts do not make law...
that’s the job for Congress...
That’s nice in theory.
The practical reality is quite different.
The 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868.What I've read indicates that the Federal courts have ruled that,among other things,it grants immediate,unconditional citizenship to *anyone* born here *except* children born to foreign diplomats.
If you can find info to the contrary I'd like to see it because I think the law,as interpreted,stinks to high heavens.
