Nearly one in 10 superdelegates who voted in the Democratic presidential primaries were registered lobbyists, according to a new report, adding some support to Bernie Sanders's claim that "the system is rigged."
At least 63 of 712 superdelegates were registered at some point as lobbyists on the state or federal level, according to an analysis conducted this year by the nonpartisan, nonprofit Sunlight Foundation.

You are only pointing out ACTIVE lobbyists in this count. If you asked the question of who has worked in their past as a lobbyist.....probably another thirty-percent would have raised their hand.
I think tht Obama will go down in history as the LAST Democrat elected president.
Your opinion can be read in more than one way. Put more succinctly, do you think that Obama will be the LAST Democrat President?
While I am not a conspiracist, more and more I am noticing that leftist, liberal statists have a singular characteristic. They think that they DESERVE to rule and they will do almost anything to bring that goal to reality. This does NOT have the same resonance for non-statists, conservatives on the right. Their greatest goal is more to be left alone with minimal government!
If Trump is elected President, and his policies turn the country around (primarily economically), then there would be no reason for the average, working class American to vote Democrat. If Pence were to be elected President after Trump, and continue the policies of Trump (pro-America), there there wouild be no reason to change course for most people.
The Democrat party would splinter into a number of smaller groups, each without the power to affect national policy.

You’re very optimistic...I hope you’re right.
what about gop? how many are lobbyists?
No super delegate system on that side.
Democrats have used the same playbook for 50 years. Republicans used the same playbook for almost as long, but Trump has written a new Republican playbook. We don’t yet know if his is the winning one, but we do know that the one Republicans have been using was not.
I should add that the GOP playbook has not been working at the presidential level.
What's the problem with that?
DNC for sale bump for later...
