Russia cyber attack: Large hack 'hits government'

A "professional" cyber attack has hit Russian government bodies, the country's intelligence service says. A "cyber-spying virus" was found in the networks of about 20 organisations, the Federal Security Service (FSB) said. The report comes as Russia stands accused over data breaches involving the Democratic Party in the US. The Russian government has denied involvement and has denounced the "poisonous anti-Russian" rhetoric coming out of Washington. The FSB did not say who it believed was responsible for hacking Russian networks, but said the latest hack resembled "much-spoken-about" cyber-spying, without elaborating. What are Trump's ties to Russia? Democrat hack: Who is Guccifer 2.0? It said the hack had been "planned and made professionally", and targeted state organisations, scientific and defence companies, as well as "country's critically important infrastructures". The malware allowed those responsible to switch on cameras and microphones within the computer, take screenshots and track what was being typed by monitoring keyboard strokes, the FSB said

All very interesting.

Now.

What about the corruption in the Democrat Party and the so-called “news” media?

Does anyone else think it’s kind of stupid to criticize another nation for the same thing our NSA/CIA does?

Just wondering. I have tired of all this blaming Russia. We don’t even know if this was the FSB or just some fat kid in a basement full of old pizza boxes at his mothers house.

Russian hackers hit our big box stores and steal credit card numbers all the time and sell them online. I don’t see anyone blaming Putin for that!

Why answer the substance of the emails when we can make the conversation about the fairy tale alliance between Trump and Russian intelligence?

Excellent point indeed!

Trump only wants Russia open for business. And, maybe a little help getting rid of ISIS.

And to focus on the bigger threats to Western Civilization than Russia.

I see it more akin to the tradition, when a supposed spy was expelled from a country for the accused country to similarly kick out an equal or greater number of supposed spies from the accusing country.

That is, I take country to country cyberhacking to be an ongoing thing. It was the finger pointing on the issue that likely simply led to counter finger pointing from the other side. Both have undoubtedly come across copious evidence of breaches from the other.

Trump has no ties to Russia...

When he was a business man and doing the ‘Beauty Shows’ he went to Russia on the “Miss Universe” tour, but he didn't see Putin...

He said something about Putin being in the ‘green room’ once when they were being interviewed by FNC, but Putin was in Russia and Trump was in New York...

When Trump said he has never met Putin, that is what he meant, he's not like Hillary and Barky and lie about things...

I think that it's more a question of whether one should side with his/her own country or side with its enemy. Make no mistake about it, there are people in this country who have always rushed to take the side of any country against the USA. I don't what it is, but some people just seem to naturally detest their own country.

I'm not one of them. When it comes to the USA vs. Russia, I will always take the side of the USA. Putin is an incompetent jerk who has destroyed the Russian economy. He has his enemies poisoned or shot. He provides SAM to morons so that they can shoot down commercial airliners and then loot the crash site.

i'm going to stick with the USA.

The NSA Is Likely ‘Hacking Back’ Russia’s Cyber Squads

http://abcnews.go.com/International/nsa-hacking-back-russias-cyber-squads/story?id=41010651

U.S. government hackers at the National Security Agency are likely targeting Russian government-linked hacking teams to see once and for all if they’re responsible for the massive breach at the Democratic National Committee, according to three former senior intelligence officials. It’s a job that the current head of the NSA’s elite hacking unit said they’ve been called on to do many times before.

Remember when N Korea in 2015 had a blackout rumored to be in retaliation to a Sony hack job? I think that was Obama. I think it might be Obama here too.
