Evidently not...Federal judge just struck down North Carolina’s voter ID law....
I hope the court of appeals in both of these circuits (North Carolina and Wisconsin) will overturn these decisions. Then, if the Supreme Court is a tie, the Appeal Courts’ rulings will stand.
It’s better that it started out this way at the lower court (if it had to happen at all). So, hopefully it will end up
1. struck down
2. overturned
3. tie—stays at overturned
