This must be FORBIDDEN because it burns the fuel and thus creates pollution!

I'm pretty sure something that converts sunlight into fuel was already invented, long, long ago:

This will drive liberals crazy, it means we don’t need to get rid of cars, we just get the gas from the sun instead of the ground. Sounds great.

Getting rid of that evil gas, CO2, which plants need to make O2 is just genius. Plenty of electricity, but no oxygen.

Sounds like we need more CO2 in the atmosphere for this to work. Quick, everyone increase your carbon footprint!

Someone could invent an electrical system that ran on raw sewage and carbon dioxide that produced unlimited free and clean energy. Environmentalists would still complain.

Is there enough CO2 in the atmosphere ? It is measured in ppm.

“The breakthrough, he said, was to use an ionic fluid called ethyl-methyl-imidazolium tetrafluoroborate, mixed 50-50 with water.”

OK, cool. No worries there. Can I dry clean with it, too?
