I’d like to ask a question to those who may have been paying more attention than I.

I’m pro-Trump, I will vote for him. But I just saw a mash up of Trump’s statements about Putin on Fox News (the one with Bret Baier.)

He made several statements about Putin, they all dealt with his relationship/or not with Putin. The clips (and I recognize they were clips and could have been taken out of context as they often do with Trump statements) made it seem like Trump was contradicting himself about if, or how well, he knew Putin.

Can anybody explain what that is all about? I can just see a negative commercial coming with those statements all linked together. Where they taken out of context, or has he changed his story over time?

If you were watching anything on a news network, even fox, then you’ve been played, and haven’t been paying attention for, oh, the last 20 or 30 years.

You want to know what Trump said? You go to YouTube and see it in its entirety.

My husband saw those clips too. I haven’t seen anything about that knowing Putin / not knowing Putin story, so searched FR and landed here. Will keep looking...
