During MSNBC’s coverage of the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday, host Rachel Maddow stated that she found the top part of former President Bill Clinton’s speech to the DNC “shocking and rude.”
Maddow began by giving the end of the speech an A+, but then said, “I think the beginning of the speech was a controversial way to start, honestly, talking about the girl, a girl, leading with this long story about him being attracted to an unnamed girl and thinking about whether he was starting something he couldn’t finish, building her whole political story, for the whole first half of the speech around her marriage to him. I think, unless there were worries that this is going to be too feminist a convention, that was not a feminist way to start. But the end of the speech was really good. I’ve got to say, the top of the speech I found shocking and rude.”

Earth to Madcow, the Clintons are nothing but rude and shocking, not too mention lying, cheating, and corrupt.

Maddow, a butch lesbian, of course would not appreciate a love story between a man and a woman.
But clinton was waging his finger all through the “love story”,because it was ALL a lie!!! The clintons have a political marriage, period!

I watched Bill spin his yarn last night and thought it was a really good work of fiction.
I do admire the guy for being mesmerizing or giving speeches.
One of the best pitch men I ever seen.

I watched an episode of American Pickers on the History cable channel tonight. Shown was an airplane that crashed into the White Lawn in 1994 during Clinton’s presidency. Then, Mike made a comment “Who knows what Clinton was doing at the time the plane crashed” and what followed on the screen was a photo of Bill and Monica. What an honorable man, that Bill.
Oh, jeez, your comment brought forth in my mind’s eye a humidor full of naked, cigar-size Monica Lewinskys. Ow!
