Grand Theft Convention.
No, that's not a new video game. But it is what we just saw Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump do to the Democrats and Hillary Clinton, and the Democrats and Hillary Clinton are helping him do it!
During about an hour-long news conference earlier Wednesday, Trump was asked repeatedly about allegations that the Russian government is behind the hacked and leaked Democratic National Committee's emails that embarrassed the party on the eve of their national convention in Philadelphia. Trump quickly pivoted to also discussing Clinton's private email-server controversy and the 30,000-plus emails the former Secretary of State had deleted from her private server under questionable explanations and circumstances.
Advantage Trump.
Then came the money quote, or the bait, when he said: "Russia, if you're listening,I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing; I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press."
That comment was sure to grab headlines all on its own, but then the Clinton campaign incredibly took the bait and had a top policy advisor respond with this statement: "This has to be the first time that a major presidential candidate has actively encouraged a foreign power to conduct espionage against his political opponent."
Advantage Trump.

I wonder if any questions will be about Russia in the debates. Or Libya.
LOL. Trouble is, that would have no effect.
Well so much for the DNC taking back all the airtime with their convention. Trump is still dominating all the news traffic. How many Trump quotes can we all think of in the last week? And how many Hillary quotes can we think of in the last week? She is getting pushed under the rug even quicker than I imagined.
CNBC should be getting a visit from Chuck Todd soon
Somebody in Russia should wade through all the important state secret Hillary emails and release a few about yoga just to poke her.
He most certainly did. Hannity has already brought this up.
Clinton senior policy adviser Jake Sullivan said in a statement. “This has gone from being a matter of curiosity, and a matter of politics, to being a national security issue.”
Who knew that yoga pants, flowers for Chelsea’s wedding, and grandchildren are now considered matters of national security. (hehe)
POTUS Candidate Trump Demands That Russia Return Stolen Property!
Still spin but not enemy spin.
That would be funny
This has to be the first time that a major presidential candidate has actively encouraged a foreign power to conduct espionage against his political opponent.
One could also go on that comment and ask how Obama helped fund Netanyahus opponent in Israel, except this being the president and not a presidential candidate.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
that is exactly what obammy & hildabeast tried to pull off in libya; egypt, and syria.
I wonder if Trump has any goodies on tap for tomorrow to grab the news cycle away from Shrillary’s coronation speech.
Yeah the asshats in the press take note that assuming a foreign power hacked them then that power is in possession of stolen data. They should release the data AS THAT would certainly be in the national interest. Unless of course the RICO press has no interest in having Hillary ‘s emails returned for ‘safe keeping’ or at least so we and the FBI can see what all the fuss is about.
Aw. ..... Let Wikileaks have a turn.
I wonder if David Gregory has figured this out yet?
Probably not.

I’m gonna laugh when we find it was actually Israel doing the hacking, in retaliation for bammy interfering with their elections. Lol. I also can’t wait to see Trump wipe the debate floor with Hitlery. Something tells me it’s gonna be ugly for the Klynton camp!
Those must be some VERY interesting pair of yoga pants..30,000 emails about pants LOL..and now they had to admit that whole yoga business was a bunch of garbage
