Ungrateful people. A little recognition and now they want litigation.

What a joke. Tons of free publicity and this whiner goes to the liberal media.

Pathetic.

[Popick is quick to explain that the agreement was not written down, but, instead, involves promises from various agents]

Yep... sounds legit to me! / sarc

What kind of idiot these days agrees to something without it in writing?

"The first event didn't come to fruition, and Popick says he asked for $2,500 in payment for the second performance, in Pensacola. The campaign made a counter-offer: How about a table where the group could presell albums? Popick took the deal. When they arrived at the venue, though, there was no table"

-Wow. It's about a table. There is serious stuff going on and serious sacrifices. The dad just got too caught up in all of this. The kids probably act more like an adult then the dad.

Err ... um ...

Guess he never heard the one about the verbal agreement not being worth the paper it's printed on.

Another stupid Washington Post "Gotcha!" piece.

Cannot trademark the Flag or Freedom.

Every parent believes their child is the next rock star. No they are just a kid. Sadly these parents are deluded.

Quick fame requires more than good feelings, it takes discipline, wisdom, intelligence, work and luck.

Good feelings are not in short supply. EVERY parent has them.

Where is Simon Cowell for a reality check?

Typical crap journalism. Six sentences, and they don’t tell you WHY the suit was launched. Not only are the media biased, they are utterly incompetent.
