The flags fluttering over Germany's parliament buildings on Monday morning were no longer flying at half-mast. But the country was still reeling from several attacks within the space of just a few days, which left several dead and many injured.
On Sunday, a man set off an explosive device near an open-air music festival in Ansbach, killing himself and wounding a dozen others. An Islamist motive was "likely," authorities said. This followed a shooting rampage in a shopping center in Munich on Friday, and an axe attack on a train in Würzburg on July 18 by a young man, which was claimed by the self-declared Islamic State.
The attackers on the train and in Ansbach were refugees, while the perpetrator of Friday's shooting rampage was of Iranian-German descent.

Parents were Iranian....resettled in Germany, got citizenship. Kids were born in Germany after they became German citizens, if the journalist story is true. So, they would ethnic-heritage Iranian-Germans.
What people might not be aware of, is that the family attacked on the train with an axe was from Hong Kong.
Not long ago I was on a train with my daughter and a family that looked like they could be from Hong Kong (not saying the same people) shared their box of animal cookies with us.
So are they still going with the right-wing NAZI angle on that Iranian-German-Iranian?
Seems like she has been taking that whole “there’s no such thing as bad publicity” thing to new lengths.
Barney (Fox Business) is not counting the Munich terrorist act as a Islamic event. How is Germany categorizing it?

Officially investigations are on going and the press will not proclaim it as a terror attack on their own.
Personally, I hardly follow German news reporting because it is so nondescript as to be boring on any given subject.
I think by now people understand that there are fanatics and crazies inspired by Islam who want to kill people. The question to what degree of one or the other is superfluous.

Merkel’s solution will be to stop denying asylum to Muslims so as not to anger them.
The minute she denies them anything, they’ll storm her office. Nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide.
