I would agree on Cruz, that further diddling with him is counterproductive.

I differ on Kay-sick. He is desperate and ambitious. He has seen his only shot at a higher office go up in smoke. He needs to be sheep-prodded into line, so Trump’s threats to him have merit.

What really makes me sick about the Kasich situation is that his feud with Trump completely negates the advantage the GOP has with having a sitting governor from the party in Ohio. This is such a crucial swing state and, normally, having a governor on your side would be so helpful for the ground game. It’s going to be grassroots all the way for Trump in Ohio, meaning he’ll have to pull in many disaffected Democrats to his side.
