Tens of thousands of protesters from across the country are descending on the Democratic National Convention, preparing to test months of planning by law enforcement officials.
Philadelphia Mayor James Kenneys office estimates that up to 50,000 protesters will be in the city per day, with many in FDR Park directly across the street from the Wells Fargo Center.
Much of the action will come from fervent supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who argue its not too late for the senator to grab the presidential nomination from Hillary Clinton at the 11th hour. We can still win this, said Billy Taylor, who is organizing pro-Sanders protests around the convention. Were not going to vote for the demon named Hillary. We stand with the honorable man. Were not standing with the Democrats.
According to a list of approved protest permits from the Philadelphia mayors office, Sanders supporters including Occupy DNC and Black Men for Bernie have events planned for each day of the convention.
Taylor said supporters of his organization Philly.FYI are planning to occupy and potentially camp in FDR Park throughout the week.
There will be no shortage of theatrics as activists, many of whom vow to never support Clinton, gather outside of the convention.
Taylor said they will deliver a coffin carrying voter de-registration petitions to the convention Thursday.
Its a sign that the partys dead to us, he said, noting the coffin will be at FDR Park throughout the week.
A dramatic performance showing the trial of Hillary Clinton and a vigil to commemorate the death of democracy are both scheduled for Monday, according to the list of approved protests from the mayors office.

Leaked Emails Show DNC Chair Told Chuck Todd Negative Coverage Must Stop (Debbie Owns Chuck)

Were there many protesters at RNC? I don’t remember them being much of a factor.
Despite efforts of the MSM to paint a narrative to the contrary, the RNC appears to have gone off pretty well and Trump/Pence left Cleveland with a head of steam.
One can tell the Cleveland protests were minuscule when the press doesn't mention numbers. BLM mustered 400 on Monday, the 2nd Amendment folks maybe 250, but they stayed in a park on the river. There were a couple other BLM protests around 150. All the real freaks, Westboro Baptists, Commies, Anarchists, were less than 50.
The weather will be a factor in Philly. It's supposed to be hot all week.
The narrative is that the GOP is in disarray while cankles is universally loved by all. The MSM will go to ridiculous lengths to maintain the narrative, even as their desperation and shame become apparent to even the most libtarded amongst them.
Get popcorn....and the bernie have forced a floor vote on motions...this is going to be fun to watch.
The protesters could burn Philly to ashes and the media would never report it.
Debbie Wasser Shultz will be in hiding wont speak and shes CHAIRMAN....lol
Im hoping for a side show like no other, fires, car burnings looting etc. A cherry on the cake for Trump
Here’s hoping they burn the city to the ground, it’s a socialist rats nest
Despite efforts of the MSM to paint a narrative to the contrary, the RNC appears to have gone off pretty well and Trump/Pence left Cleveland with a head of steam.
Prior to the Republican convention, far left protesters promised to descend on Cleveland and unleash chaos there. They failed to do so for three reasons: 1) A massive police presence. 2) Open carry is permitted in Cleveland. 3) Bikers for Trump were there in force to counter the protesters. In Philadelphia, it will be a different story. The police will be out in force again, however, the police union there recently issued a statement condemning the DNC's plans to feature anti-police speakers at the convention. Also, Philadelphia does not allow open carry, and there will be no group equivalent to Bikers for Trump to keep the protesters in check. The various far left groups failed to carry out their plans in Cleveland, and feel the need to "redeem" themselves by causing havoc in Philadelphia. The recent email release confirming that the DNC plotted with the Clinton campaign to sabotage Bernie Sanders will only add fuel to the fire. It's going to be far from quiet in Philadelphia this coming week.
In remembrance: Chicago ‘68 & Mayor Dailey, Abbie Hoffman, etc. Nixon won in a landslide.
Please dear God let the Rats reap some earthly karma without bloodshed.there in Philly.
If Philly were to be burned to the ground, would anyone notice?
The only thing I saw was that old Code Pink lesbian, Medea Benjamin being escorted out during Donald’s speech.
Debbie Wasserman Test has a lot to answer for.
The MSM will have a great platform to put their cameras on -- the shoulder of southbound I-95 -- to get shots of the protestors' site, FDR park, and the exterior of the Wells Fargo site. I look forward to the protestors climbing up and "capturing" I-95 and the bridge over the Schuylkill River
Investment tip: buy options on popcorn futures!
In 1968, radicals tried to riot-seize the DNC in Chicago, only to be met with Mayor Daley’s police with orders to break heads. So the last of the more-moderate liberal Democrats kept control.
But by 1972 in Miami Beach, the radicals finally took over, and the Democrats have been controlled by that generation of radicals ever since. They demanded the media stop calling them radicals and instead call them liberals.
However, they are becoming victims of their own success. They created a new generation of albeit still internationalist, but fascist socialist radicals. These “red guards” are even unforgiving of the Democrat radicals who are not radical enough.
These new Democrat-socialists are profoundly anti-American, antisemitic, racialist, sexualist, arrogantly bigoted and profoundly unlearned. They are also stridently demanding, with an unmatched sense of entitlement.
And now we shall see if they are violent enough to attack and maim those who created them.
