I’ve followed the Munich story since the first minute of reporting (I live in Germany).

Cops can only say that the kid illegally acquired this Glock and every single gun law that they had in place worked like it should. Other than making another law that says you can’t buy illegal guns, there’s just not anything worth discussing.

The kid had a combination of factors (Muslim background, loser mentality, dumped on in school, no apparent future). If the German government wanted to do something positive....it’d do better to examine those factors rather than the more gun laws discussion.

One of the hypes in Sunday’s German news is that the political folks wanted the public to know that owning a gun is not a right in Germany....like in the US. But for a fair number in society, it’ll just draw the obvious question...if Germany took the move not to allow it to be a right....maybe not allowing religion to be a right would also make sense.

Oh, and I should note that one of the oddball things that was noted on the Munich shooter’s WhatsApp profile picture...was a image of the Norwegian mass killer....Anders Behring Breivik. This will disturb a lot of Germans that the kids respected and admired Breivik. This was talked about a couple of years ago in that Breivik end up as some social hero within society. Well....it’s happened.

Maybe he got the gun from Barack Obama.

Sounds facetious, but the killers in Paris actually did get at least one firearm that was traced to Fast & Furious.

"This will disturb a lot of Germans that the kids respected and admired Breivik."

What's strange is that Breivik, like Timothy McVeigh are/were atheists.

Breivik even made a Nazi salute at his sentencing.

As we all know there is nothing "Christian" about the Nazis.

They were socialist/paganists, as their platform and actions showed.

And pardon my French, but because Europeans are such pu$$ies, they threw the very worst punishment at him, 22 years in prison.

IIRC, he even won some legal battle for a tidy sum, because his prison just wasn't "comfortable" enough according to the Norwegians.

Something about library access or some other rot.

Europe needs to wake up NOW, and fast.

Anyone consider that german intelligence agents may have been ordered to put breviks pic on ali’s account for the coverup? Would Obama do it if he had the chance?
