My only hot Christmas was in Viet Nam in Di An. We had made progress in clearing jungles North West of Siagon and were in for a maintenance stand down. I don't remember what we ate but we were served Wine! Quite unusual for us enlisted. I think White Christmas was a favorite then.

Everyday was hot in Vietnam, or at least muggy and smelly, actually always smelly.
