CLEVELAND, Ohio The Los Angeles Times Melanie Mason reports that immigration statistics cited by Donald Trump during his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention were basically right, even if immigration is flat overall. Masons verification came on the heels of confirmation by another Times reporter, Seema Mehta, that Trumps crime numbers were mostly accurate, though Mehta went on to argue that his conclusions are a stretch.

I bet she was chomping at the bit wanting to say something to try and discredit Trump.
Lefie “fact checkers” heads are exploding - I heard the Politifact guy say that Trumps statistics were accurate - but only “half right” because of something that he didn’t like.
