It’s not always sunny in Philadelphia. It won’t be Monday when Democrats gather in the rain to nominate Hillary Clinton. The Democratic National Convention was to be the last obligatory nicety for Team Clinton before an easy win at the polls Nov. 8.

There was to be no doubt and little opposition.

But Cleveland failed to kneecap Donald Trump, and in fact his campaign has emerged bigger, stronger and more energized.

Hillary’s mini-vacay in Philly next week will come with a compliant media and no external challenges whatsoever, save for the rain. Even the aged socialist whom Clinton barely defeated for the nomination has fallen into line. But soon she will face her first real opponent.

The post-RNC Trump campaign is battle-tested, reinvigorated and determined to win.

When Hillary loses that will pretty much end the Clinton’s reign of horror on the American political landscape, but more importantly it means their grip on the Democratic Party is over too. Who benefits from that? The president and his wing of the party. They will be the ones who clean up the mess of their loss in November and pick the candidate in 2020 plus they will have control of the party machinery. So ask yourself again if you think every Democrat powerbroker wants Hillary to win.

It is way past time for the Democrats to give Mrs. Bill the hook but alas for them, the Clintons know everything about the Sheik in DC and have a penchant and immense capability for Revenge.

In the debate (Hillary will probably allow only one), Trump is going to come out of his corner at the bell, and pound Hillary as Mike Tyson did Michael Spinks (and so many others). She is totally unprepared for a streetfighter like Trump. She will pose with a copy of the Marquis of Queensbury in one hand, and Roberts Rules of Order in the other - and Trump will punch her in the throat. First, she will be shocked. Then, she will be enraged. Then she will be humiliated. She might even start crying.

Trump is spontaneous; Hillary couldn’t find the word in a dictionary that runs from “sn” to “sq.”

He will destroy her.
