I saw an article that stated ‘activists’ were very concerned because the police had made arrangements to process large numbers of arrests ... brought in additional court personnel, expanded hours, etc. It was obvious that the police weren’t going to be standing on the sidelines and allowing the protesters “space to destroy” as in Baltimore, etc. The chief actually went out himself on some of the bike patrols. The open carry was also mentioned as scaring some of the protesters off as well.
Yep. When you really prepare and make it obvious you’ve prepared ... then bad things just don’t seem to happen. Great job by all concerned.
