this is true. Cruz putting his dad on the campaign circuit opened him to the spotlight. And, it was the NE that went after Cruz’s dad; Trump just mentioned the story.

I think the bigger mistake that Cruz made, he explained that freedom's under assault, he explained it as well as anybody has, but he didn't close the loop. He didn't make clear the difference a Clinton and Trump presidency would make to freedom itself and to the Constitution. And I think that was a mistake.

Had he closed that loop, Cruz would have had to endorse. I guess his anger wouldn't let him see the larger picture. That's not a character trait that one wants in a president.

Limbaugh is right about Cruz's implosion uniting the party. Cruz all but declared himself unfit for high office. Trump is the only one standing.

There was a lot to like about Ted Cruz. I wish he had never entered the primary.
