The government idiots had another great idea

Someone close to me works in the environmental field and has a saying, "if it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down.

So disgusting!

Hygiene, including daily showers with fresh water, flushing toilets, etc., have contributed greatly to human health. Environmentalists want to take us back to the Dark Ages.

I used to think that Progressives would not be able to survive the slightest collapse of civilization, but now I think that most FReepers will quickly die of the vapors if our sterile and plastic civilization ever falters.

It’s urine in a bowl of water with a lid on it. As long as you don’t drink out of it or wash your hands in it, you can let it sit for an hour or two.

I work in the water utility industry and the shortage of water is very real even in places where there appears to be unlimted water (I’m in north Florida). But, I’d outlaw manicured lawns long before I’d worry about flushing pee down the toilet.

We're doing some remodeling. My wife was online shopping for a custom toilet, would pick one out, but at checkout it wouldn't go through because they won't ship to California. Happened at several sites with different toilets. Finally figured out that if it uses too much water per flush, it's banned in California. Darn environmental regulations! She finally found a custom toilet that met our needs and that will ship to us. In California it's getting to the point where we'll need a bucket of water nearby to ensure a good flush.

With the two cup flushes now provided courtesy of the EPA one needs to flush twice and often scrub.

And one needs to flush always because the toilet does not rinse things enough.
