Beginning to think that Germany is one super messed up place.
It sure was in the 1940’s and except for cleaning up the rubble, it has not really changed too much since then.
They are so arrogant that they actually think the Syrian and Afghani coming today are as mellow as the Turk gastarbeiter (”guest worker”) they brought in during the 1960’s and had a labor shortage.
The Germans seem to go completely insane as a nation every few generations. They are very gifted, rational, intelligent people, and then all of a sudden they collectively go nuts and put the country on the track to destruction or national suicide.
