Obamacare was designed to put private insurers out of business so that the government is the only place left to go for insurance.

Since that was the design. It IS working!

The other "elephant in the room" is that the Federal government now firmly controls health care instead of the individual states. Thus, the "conservative" alternative to Obamacare is yet another Federally administered program.

Pelosi complained on the run-up to Obamacare passage that 16% of the economy was not under the direct control of Congress. So, even if Obamacare is repealed, she wins and we lose!
