Why is State in need of these emails?

Are they now concerned about keeping government records?

The State Department has an office specifically designed to accept these emails.

State Dept is under court order to turn over Clinton’s emails to various plaintiffs in FOIA lawsuits. Because Clinton violated the law by operating a private server, didn’t turn in all materials for archiving as required, and deleted tens of thousands of unarchived messages, State did not have the messages to turn over.

FBI helped Hillary by dragging out their fake investigation and claiming they couldn’t release anything during an active cover-up, oops, investigation. Their new mission is to delay release past the DemConv or even the election. They particularly do not want Judicial Watch to have the materials to review before deposing Hillary. I assume the material will have been sanitized before the FBI or DoS releases anything.
