In January 2014, Stafford admitted to a probation violation. As a result a judge ordered probation be extended for two years or until treatment was completed. He was on probation at the time of the deaths. I hope this means he'll get a substantial sentence on the current conviction.
I wonder if the collision was alcohol/drug related, or if he happened not to be drunk or high at the time, and instead was texting.

They said that they took a blood sample but also that they did not suspect alcohol. To me that means that they suspected drugs.
And the guy has a history of driving while high.
Does not mean he was high at the time but it is a probability rather then a possibility.
