Interesting time line:
The deaths occurred on May 9, 2014.
Mr. Stafford was indicted on four felony counts on November 5, 2015.
He was convicted (article doesn’t say of which counts) on July 13, 2016.
He will be sentenced on August 2, 2016. Presumably he will then go to jail, *finally*, for crimes committed more than two years previously.
That timeline is not unusual.....defense attorneys try to delay trial as much as possible.....memories fade!!!!
