Meet Hugo's daughter (‘La chica rica’)

Let me introduce you to the richest young woman in Venezuela, or "la chica rica", i.e. the rich girl.

Her name is María Gabriela Chávez, or the daughter of the socialist Hugo Chavez.

According to Ezequiel Spector, a lawyer, PhD candidate, professor at the University Torcuato Di Tella and contributor at PanAm Post, this is one lucky Maria:

The alleged fortune of María Gabriela Chávez, daughter of the late Hugo Chávez, has recently stirred up controversy in Venezuela. Media reports suggest that Chávez’s daughter has US$4.2 billion stored in bank accounts in the United States and Andorra, which might make her the wealthiest person in Venezuela.

Critics have pointed to a supposed inconsistency: how can one support the so-called Bolivarian Revolution while enjoying such enormous riches? However, the premise of this critique is flawed, because it assumes that Chavismo emerged to uphold rights and equality.

LOL! Well yeah. Why else do you become the leader of a movement? Oh, to help the underprivileged and downtrodden right? Kinda like that famous palestonian freedom seeker yassar (that's my baby) arra-fat's family. I hear they're living it up royally in France these days. No Gaza strip for them. That would be yucky having to interface with those smelly peons. How about another glass of Dom?

I suppose a similar statement could be made about Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Sounds kind of like The Clinton Foundation.

Promise you’ll help needy people.

Take the money for yourself.

Lie about it for as long as you can.

It always happens when the leaders of a revolution overthrowing a ‘corrupt’ government in the name of the poor downtrodden masses always wind up being super rich and living high while the rest of the country wallows in poverty and misery.

Better and more accurate to say “wallows in even greater poverty and misery.”

For example, Raul Castro's daughter, Mariela, recently visited the US. She was given a total pass by US journalists who were fascinated by the Cuban health care system rather than Castro, Inc, the empire that has made her family fifthly rich too.

Yep, that's out brilliant press. They fawn all over someone about something they know nothing about, but have heard how marvelous it is compared to our heath care delivery system. They do not know what it means to be a reporter and to find and report the real news story.

Some pigs are more equal than others!

No government can EVER make everyone equal, except in the grave! Those that give direction have the ability to benefit from their directives. History has some societies where 1st years are exceptionally equitable but that seldom lasts for long. The constant refrain from the idealists is “this time it will work” and yet it never has.

Venezuela is Zimbabwe and all those where the promise of socialism becomes misery for the 99%. Yet there is always a Bernie playing a pied piper siren song of a better chance for the ‘victims!’ PS: Nothing makes socialism so attractive as when government seeks to regulate equality and equity!

“the Western media doesn't ask them about their wealth”

Yep it took a Sportscaster, Vin Scully, to do the medias job of telling it like it is about Socialism and that homely hag Maria Chavez's billions.

I’m tired of people criticizing socialism. Socialism is the redistribution of wealth. This was done very successfully in Venezuela. It has also been done in Cuba and North Korea.” - Maria Chavez

Sounds like The Clinton Foundation. Eternal PR about helping the "needy." A thin veneer of do-goodism gains them credibility.....but they only go to those countries w/ vast untapped resources of gold, uranium, oil, etc.....and their biggest con is using natural disasters to cash-in bigtime

The Clintons grab everything not nailed down.....then lie and lie and lie.

The Clintons cashed in on Haiti's devastating earthquake.

BFF---Clinton and Digicel CEO---billionaire. Dennis O'Brien.
US tax dollars poured into O'Brien's coffers thanks to the Clintons.

EXCERPT Free Beacon May 2015--- The Clintons have been working with Digicel CEO Denis O’Brien in Haiti since 2010, in the wake of the disastrous earthquake. Bill Clinton and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had been active players in the country before the quake, but would assume almost total managerial control over the recovery effort via the State Department and the Clinton Foundation.

As Peter Schweizer documents in Clinton Cash, Digicel received millions in U.S. tax dollars from USAID, an agency overseen by the State Department, as part of the Haiti Mobile Money Initiative. The program was designed to establish a mobile money-transfer system that would allow individuals to send donations directly to friends and relatives in Haiti.

Digicel was also tapped by the USAID Food for Peace program, which was under the direct control of Hillary Clinton’s top aide Cheryl Mills, to administer money transfers over its mobile network. Haitians received cell phones and a free Digicel account; Digicel received grants courtesy of U.S. taxpayers, collected millions in fees from Haitians every time they used the system, and significantly expanded its user base.

By 2012, Digicel had captured nearly 80 percent of the Haitian mobile phone market, and Haiti had surpassed Jamaica as the company’s most profitable market. Revenues were up 14 percent compared to 2011, and Digicel’s subscriber base increased by almost 30 percent during that period. O’Brien, who holds a 94 percent stake in the privately owned firm, continued to rake in cash. In 2014 alone, O’Brien awarded himself $650 million worth of dividends.

BACKSTORY Secy Hillary poured billions of our tax dollars into Haiti as Bill put on his "do-good" act. But Haitian Americans protested the Clinton Foundation offices say dirt-poor Haitians never got a dime...all of the tax dollars have been laundered into the foundation.

REALITY CHECK In some Haitian mountain villages there's no electricity (maybe generators for a few hours), no water, no septic, etc. - but dirt-poor Haiti does have cell-phone coverage.

Reading the many stories of Clinton "do-goodism" in Haiti....he is invariably standing before a Digicel sign. You can bet your bottom dollar the Clintons get a cut of that action.

That's Digicel's CEO on the left.

The Digicel Group is the Caribbean and Central American telecom empire run by Denis O’Brien, an Irish billionaire officially resides in Malta to avoid taxes..... O'Brien serves as chairman of the Clinton Global Initiative’s Haiti Action Network.

Digicel, the largest mobile provider in Haiti, invested $45 million in the project, which also benefited from $26.5 million in financing from the World Bank-affiliated International Finance Corporation. Hillary also tapped USAID for more tax dollars for the tax-evadng billionaire.

Digicel was also tapped by the USAID Food for Peace program, which was under the direct control of Hillary Clinton’s top aide Cheryl Mills, to administer money transfers over its mobile network. Haitians received cell phones and a free Digicel account; Digicel re ceived grants courtesy of U.S. taxpayers, collected millions in fees from Haitians every time they used the system, and significantly expanded its user base.

But it was Bill Clinton who made it all happen.

Not unattractive, if she’s nice and can get through my mean/stupid/crazy filters. Considering who her daddy was, that’s doubtful. Money can’t make up for it. Well, maybe a lot of money could.

Look at Hillary and Bill Clinton or Barack Obama.

Obama was too broke to rent a car for the 2000 Democrat National Convention in LA. His credit cards where maxed out. He couldn’t even afford or get anyone in the IL Democrat Party to get hom tickets to get into the venue.

Eight years later he was a multi-millionaire and President Elect. Yet, he never had an original idea or even a private sector job.

Banana Republic!
