I picked a lot from my garden yesterday and now my back is complaining. Still, I won't complain too much. Here's the outcome of that:

To my surprise this thread was up very early in the morning. So a big thank you AB as I am going to the 8:30 am mass but will be back and all the Sunday shows are being taped.
Thank you Bray for weekly wisdom, thanks to all yon commenters who will keep me up to par.
Cause next week is a news junkee dream!!!! The Republican convention! After that, the Democratic convention and hey, I might even watch that!
Going on vacation next week with my granddaughter so won’t be around next Sunday. Next Sunday going to the Delaware State Fair....the BEST state fair in the country!!!! Staying at a hotel night of fair then getting up and driving to Massachusetts. Visiting my mother-in-law and husband’s family.
What a strange bunch....all living in Massachusetts but all of them born and raised in Indiana. Should be some great political discussion.
And beautiful granddaughter will meet husband’s nephew because my rule has always been, you looking for a man in your life....find a Fish man. They were born to be husbands and fathers.
Of course nephew is only 14 and gorgeos, breathtakingly beautiful granddaughter is only 12 and she’s convinced she is somehow related to Matthew.
Which she’s not.
I got mixed emotions about granddaughter’s beauty. This is because I was once a woman’s libber and thought women should not be judged by their looks but who was I kidding?
When in fact I myself was quite beautiful when young but I never thought so. I thought I was hideous, fat, ugly and stinky.
I look at granddaughter and her beauty takes breath away.
And she’s some kind of dancer, I don’t know what that’s about. But we are travelling to Massachusetts in the Jeep which I had all fixed up this past week. Because her mother totally abandoned her and my heart aches.
But she’s a great kid, and beautiful, did I tell you?
Finally, I am currently learning the bible and there is a possibility, slight, that I might be joining another church.
Because whoever came up with the idea of leaving a congregation to be charged by a single male....well that was a dumb idea.
But I don’t think I can give up mass, I love going to mass.
