You have to wonder, with the money apparently involved here, why didn’t they also load the truck with explosives? Weapons and explosives are, apparently, easy for the Jihad to get. Though, weapons are forbidden to the French citizens, any one of which might have stopped him earlier if they had been carrying.

My thought too. Terrorist(s) drive the truck through the crowd until they can go no further - then detonate the truck like Tim Mcveigh.
Maybe terrorist(s) just couldn't get the explosives in large quantity.

there’s a story coming out of Nice, France today, that a truck laden with explosives was found parked along the highway. I wonder if that one broke down and the ‘icecream’ truck was backup?
