We have not declared war on anyone or any country since World War II.
Neither Korea or Vietnam were declared wars.
Legally speaking, declaring war can allow us to take certain actions that might not be permitted otherwise.
Up until now, every act of Muslim terror has been treated as a one off, criminal act, unrelated to others, and are handled as civilian crimes in our criminal justice system.
If these acts were treated as acts of war, the situation could be much different.
We’ll see.
Obama and his terrorist buddies know this, hence concerns he will create a crisis and declare martial law, postponing the election of Trump. Hope our military leaders and law enforcement are ready.
Anyway, congruent with killing the murderous bastards over there, we need to stop importing them over here AND figure out how to export them elsewhere. I think Curtis LeMay would have voted for using them as shark bait. ;-)
Well, exactly what is the object of the declaration of war? ISIS? If they are obliterated another group will pop up under a different banner with the same objectives. The problem is Islam, and it’s all over the world. How do you send troops to deal with that? Considering western nations have welcomed the enemy into their countries wit open arms, how does a declaration of war solve that problem?
This is not some conventional army that wears uniforms and marches across borders. This isn’t another WWII. The only solution is to send all Muslims back to Muslim countries and let them have their Shia/Sunni fight until there are none left.
If we declare war on ISIS can we use nukes??? (kidding I think)
