There should be NO SUCH THING as a INDEFINITE STATE SECRET in a FREE REPUBLIC, all secrets should have EXPIRATION DATES, NO MORE THAN 10-20 YEARS.

There are very valid reasons to keep materials classified, sometimes for decades. People die when secrets are revealed before their time.
