An unprofessional reporter and his equally failed co-worker displayed one of the worst cases of extreme bias in the newspaper business.
Gee, did you think your humble correspondent was being perhaps a bit too harsh in his assessment of reporters Denis Slattery and Adam Edelman of the New York Daily News? Not after you read their article which is like extreme bias on steroids. Without even the slightest hint of subtlety they let their biases unashamedly hang out just dripping with obvious hate for all to see. You will already have an idea where they are going with the story just from the title, Rudy Giuliani, Tim Tebow among oddball speaker lineup at next week’s Republican National Convention. It goes downhill from there with the very first sentence of their diatribe:

The Dems have no faults....except they think baby killing is a good thing and a male perv in the john with a 10 year old girl is a good thing...homo marriages are a good thing.

I guess these reporters and the rest of the NYC elites conveniently forget the fact that they can actually walk the streets of NYC at night BECAUSE of the “bigoted former Mayor”. I wonder if any of them would like to go back to the pre-Giuliani days.

I'm no particular Rudy fan, found him unacceptable as a Presidential candidate. He is, however, a former VERY successful mayor of a very large city, and a Republican. Hardly an odd choice for a speaker.
A few years ago I had a boss who thought it would be a good idea for all of us to attend one of these inspirational speaker road shows when it came to town. Guiliani was by far the best speaker there. Overall it was a waste of time, but Rudi was well worth listening to.
It’s okay. It lets the rest of us know who they are and what they think......................
Something that cannot be said loud enough and often enough. One man of great vision, perseverance, and toughness with a fantastic set of lieutenants tapped into the abundant reservior that is NY's Finest, Bravest and Best and turned around a battleship in a bathtub.
The Daily News is in a death spiral and they think become a tabloid version of MSNBC can pull them out. Unfortunately, as the NY Times and Village Voice already own the left of the city, there’s really no ground to be gained. At this point, they exist largely to generate website clicks with extreme stuff like this.

Rudy SAVED NYC. That’s not an understatement.
And just like obama ruined Iraq, deblahblahblah is ruining Rudy’s legacy.
He pulled us through 9/11 while everyone else was a deer in the headlights. He is not a conservative, I know, but he is loved here. And for good reason.
