CNN intelligence and security analyst Bob Baer was on set for the network’s rolling coverage Thursday night of the terror attack in Nice, France but he seized on the tragedy to bash Israelis for responding to similar truck attacks by going “far to the right” along with those who support Brexit and the French political party National Front.
With the bodies still yet to scattered out on the streets, Baer complained to CNN host Erin Burnett that the Israelis have suffered tragedies like what transpired in southern France but responded by “driv[ing] Isareli politics far to the right and put the whole population at risk as well as knives.”
This knee-jerk reaction that NewsBusters readers are more than familiar with was again on display minutes later when Baer touted how “[a] lot of converts from Christianity have joined the Islamic State” in France before leaping ahead to the next presidential elections there in 2017 and blasting Marine Le Pen (instead of, say, ISIS for their atrocities):
It's a problem they can't get a hold of and what worries me is this is going to turn European politics very far to the Front, Le Pen — the far-right in France, yes — the candidate there for the presidency, the far right, this is going to boost them.
Somehow, Baer also brought in the British vote last month to leave the European Union and lament that the vote will be “boost[ed]” somehow in addition to any right-leaning ideologies in Germany or across Europe:
It’s going to boost Brexit. It’s going to boost the Germans and the rest of them because it can happen anywhere in Europe, but again, I go back to these weapons. Are they coming across boats from Libya? Are they coming from Turkey? We simply don't know and what we do is that the Islamic State — I’m not saying this was an Islamic State, we're going to find out soon enough, but that they can keep on going and they have this bottomless, you know, well of adherence, and that's what scares the Europeans.
With guns not being the weapon of choice for this terrorist, the issue of gun control was off the table and not an excuse the liberal media could deploy. Unfortunately, the media will likely seize on another narrative to drive home their agenda and this attempt to blame right-leaning politicians seems as though it’ll be one readers will want to watch for going foward.

Don’t worry CNN, you scum, this will boost the “far right” even more.
The left are setting themselves up to be fully identified with Muslims and by their passive aggressive failure to take any ownership of the awful terrorism, so-called moderate Muslims are setting themselves up for massive reaction. Add that up and you have the recipe for mass unrest where the center-right gets so fed up with the continual b.s. barrage and the primitive nature of the terrorism, that many more people than just the so-called extreme right will get militant and demand more extreme measures. The left will be totally discredited and swept out of power altogether. And this is long overdue.
Leftists have teamed up with illegals, immigrants, criminals, Muslims, and third worlders to execute a lobster broiling of Europe.
Turn the heat up degree after degree.
Destroy marriage and the family unit. Promote birth control, abortion, homosexuality, secularism. Lower the birth rate of the native Europeans.
Then import 3rd worlders who will vote for the left to bring in more 3rd worlders.
By the time the native population figures it out it’s too late. They’ve already been boiled alive.

Someone should investigate Bob Bear. He’s been on CNN for years, and every time he speaks he sounds like a Muslim/DNC collaborator.
What kind of CIA agent was he? He is despicable.
If the Nice truck massacre had happened in Israel, the headlines in France would be "Arab truck driver executed by Israeli police" and the only photo you'd see would be of the bullet-splattered windshield of the truck.
Now CNN is pitching in with the anti-Semitism.
This kind of reminds me of the scene in the movie “MASH”, in which Duke Forrest (Tom Skerritt) mentions “It’s either God’s will or someone else’s fault” concerning Major Frank Burns’ attitude whenever a patient died.
I think the real question here is this. When will French people quit waiting around for help from the state? Will this push forward a quiet, but organized resistance movement?
We recall that in Northern Ireland both “sides” had underground paramilitary ops which perpetrated most of the hits, and some acts of indiscriminate terror (nothing on this scale, however). But as civilization breaks down in France (and the rest of Europe) and where legitimate, above ground institutions have lost control....isn’t an organized, underground response the next logical development? I suspect it is.
CNN coverage has definitely had the flavor of: “Islamic jihadist attack? [shrug] stuff happens” added with a very heavy mix of “Voting for Le Pen is an existential threat that will destroy western civilization”.
This Baer is one of the most tiresome self-proclaimed “experts” I’ve seen on tv; a purported retired CIA know it all who never seems to know very much. Recently, he hosted an History Channel International show on how Hitler escaped to Argentina in a submarine and ended up hosting a bed and breakfast for the rest of his putrid long life.
Did CNN pull the plug on the broadcast like they did when the CNN analyst criticized the she-Devils?
