A New York utility plans to approve a wind farm off eastern Long Island that it says would be the nation’s largest offshore wind energy project built to date.

Possible. The good areas are dark blue and there are productive farms in the dark blue in WV without a lot of blight. But the large lighter blue areas only make sense if the areas are farmland or wasteland. Texas has great wind power but that’s mainly because the land is useless and unforested.
