I know it was a typo. But it’s also true. Cruz is endorsing Cruz.

112 is the committee number, two each from the 50 states, five territories
and Washington DC. Must be one woman and one male from each.

It’s not garbage!

Cruz could have squelched this by simply honoring his pledge to support the nominee.

These nutcases wouldn’t even be at the convention if not for Cruz’s “ground game”.

But Cruz is not leading anything. He’s lurking in the shadows as his minions and best friend Mike Lee scurry about, whispering and conniving. Disgusting that I used to like them both.

That would certainly serve him right and go a long way towards reinstilling some hope for the GOP.

“....he was riding high for a while before we the people properly vetted him. It would be equal to Hillary.”

More like Obama, in my estimation. The parallels between those two are downright eerie. It’s almost like they were similar models, built by the same crew.

Yeah. I hope the opportunity doesn’t arise when Cruz says to Trump, “You knew I was a snake before you invited me to speak at the Convention.” Who knows what that bat-shit crazy Dominionist SOB might say? Trump needs to be prepared for the worst.

"You got to kind of admire a guy that continually fights for his convictions and never quits."

Do Ted's convictions include not honoring his pledge to support the nominee? I seem to remember his hand going up at that first date.

“I wonder if Texans will re-elect him after this spectacle ?”

I voted to elect Ted to the Senate, and he is the first politician I ever sent my hard earned money to, but he’s completely lost me over the course of the last year.

He’ll never get another vote, or dollar from me, for any purpose.

“conscious amendment” just went down with only 21 votes.
Not even close, not enough for a ‘minority report’ to get it before the convention.

Cruz is a disgrace.

Absolutely true, IMHO.

Ted Cruz has systematically alienated all but his most avid fanboys.

It's very hard to rationalize Cruz's continued failure to help unite the party behind its presumptive nominee, and honor the pledge he made. Anyone who is intellectually honest would have to admit that Ted Cruz is acting selfishly and is damaging efforts at party unity. Cruz has failed to even congratulate Donald Trump on his primary victory. It's been a long time since Indiana at this point.

Cruz is doing nothing but help Hillary at this point, and now, only a few days before the convention, he apparently still clings to the delusion that some kind of chaos will occur the will accrue to his benefit.

I've never seen a more blindly ambitious, self-centered, Machiavellian human being. Actions speak louder than words, and it is Ted Cruz's actions that have exposed him as a man of profoundly flawed character, who appears to care very little about the future of this Republic.

It would have been preferable to leave harsh criticism of such shameful behavior in the past, but Ted Cruz insists on reminding GOP voters of his narcissism on such a regular basis, that it's absolutely impossible to overlook or dismiss.

If Cruz doesn't get his head straight by convention time, he shouldn't be allowed within a mile of the podium.

Vote Trump!

Yep, the “what-could-have-been”’s in the pile of forgotten history.
