I mean, where to start?

I'm a man of faith, but keeping religion out of school is a good thing. There's no need to teach Bible study in public schools.

Who wrote this language? "indispensable for the development of an educated citizenry" - Sounds like it was written by a founding Father.

“natural marriage” between a man and a woman is most likely to result in offspring who do not become drug-addicted or otherwise damaged.

Again, what the hell? How could they possibly know this? Since gays are about 1% of the population or less, and an even smaller subset of that percentage are gay couples with kids, this claim is just ludicrous. Was there a study done?

We all want smaller government, civil liberty, less regulation and more freedoms. Except the hypocrisy of these statements is fairly absolute when it attempts to control the civil liberties of people.

I am really confused by some of these quotes.

There are three ways the ruling elite change societies in order take control; through propaganda, wars and strictly controlled curriculum of what is taught in public schools.
One might want to watch this interview of Norman Dodd.

You know what? I’ll believe it when I see it — and I don’t mean a new party-platform, but the party itself standing for its platform... after all, how has the Republican party done on fiscal responsibility or respecting the constitution as the supreme law or even repealing ObamaCare like we were promised multiple times?

"It also encourages the teaching of the Bible in public schools because, the amendment said, a good understanding of its contents is “indispensable for the development of an educated citizenry.”

Additional provisions included those that promoted state laws to limit which restrooms transgender people could use, nodded to “conversion therapy” for gays by saying that parents should be free to make medical decisions about their children without interference and stated that “natural marriage” between a man and a woman is most likely to result in offspring who do not become drug-addicted or otherwise damaged.

1. The Bible is one of the foundational documents of Western Civilization, and it should NOT be taught even from a non-denominational perspective?

2. "Conversion therapy" often works; anti-alcoholism therapy often does not.

God forgive me, but I hate the NYT. If ISIS blew them up, I would applaud.

Are you a conservative, or a troll? Or just stupid? Just taking the issue of the Bible: it is one of the founding documents of Western Civilization, and you think presenting it to public school students as such is wrong?

But a Democrat agenda that embraces free college, free health care, unchecked immigration, massive debt, a weak military, reverse racism, men-as-women, infanticide, and buggery is not “far to the left.”

I guess it’s hard to smell the stench when you’re used to standing in the middle of the cesspool.

Well, basic knowledge of the Bible is indispensable if we want to produce educated people. The Bible is the bedrock document that the entirety of Western Civilization rests on, if you don’t have at least basic familiarity with it, you can’t rightly claim to be educated (at least as far as Westerners are concerned).

“but keeping religion out of school is a good thing”

No such thing. They teach atheism now.

Gosh! Parent deciding on whether their kids get medical treatment? What a bizarre and awful idea.

What's the dem platform say? Free sex changes for 10 year olds even if the parents say no?
