Monmouth University has recently polled a sample of Iowa voters (full pdf below) and finds Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton 44% to 42%:

Patrick Murray is shocked, s.h.o.c.k.e.d, to find Donald Trump leading with voters under 50-years-of-age. Trump is leading with younger voters 51% to 32% !
Monmouth University […] One unusual finding in the poll is that Trump leads among voters under 50 years old in Iowa. In Monmouth polls conducted nationally and in other states, Clinton has held an advantage with younger voters.
Specifically, 51% of Iowa voters under age 50 currently support Trump, compared to 32% for Clinton, 7% for Johnson, and 3% for Stein or another candidate. Among voters age 50 and older, Clinton has the edge with 50% support, compared to 38% for Trump, 4% for Johnson and 1% for Stein or another candidate. (read more)

Interesting to me is the contrast with recently reported FL results, where Trump is somewhat ahead, but mostly because of older voters (who in FL are white and Republican). In this poll, it’s the younger Iowa voters who are giving him the big edge.

I’m guessing most of the elders in Iowa have ethanol subsides from the govt, and the ones that don’t vote Trump.
Trump -- although not a "spring chicken" -- is far more energetic, far more (legitimately) passionate, and far more likeable.
The Iowa polling data is no surprise to me.

Last night in Indianan I was amazed. After Trump finished The camera was following him in the crowd. He was well guarded by the security ( I call the tall leader “Grey Fox” ). But to my utter amazement the crowd that pressed is was alpha males 20 to 45 with baseball caps. I am talking 90% ! “Something happening here— what it is ain’t exactly clear”

I wonder how many Millenials are PO’ed that Batsh!t Bernie endorsed Her Thighness? How many would either sit out the elections all together in disgust, or go 3rd party, or might say the hell with it and vote for Trump only because they’re finally realizing the legendary sleaze and corruption the Clintons are famous for and they see nothing else to lose at this point?
