Ya, a bit of sarcasm there. It’s what the liberal snowflakes cry whenever some miscreant is gunned down by a cop.

During the negotiations they told the suspect they were sending him some food as a show of good faith. They put the C-4 in a Burger King bag.

In just one year, a pizza-delivering robot with the potential to save human life during bomb threats or similar situations became a casually-deployed, due process-stripping weapon of war against a U.S. citizen.

There's no such right to due process when you're currently in the commission of a felony. That occurs only after the fact, and they want to arrest, charge, and imprison/execute you for that. While you're in the active commission of a crime, all bets are off.

Seriously. Having a sniper pump a round into his head is different from this HOW exactly?

Idiots don’t understand technology. The decision was made by a person. Using a robot was no different than using a rifle. Both are just tools.

The real issue is about letting a drone make the decision. That is not what happened here.

Huh?!

What do these people use for brains? He was given numerous chances to surrender. After 5 dead, no police officer should be required to unnecessarily risk so much as a scratched finger.

He had more “due process” than was actually warranted. Snipers from the SWAT team should have been sent in, and covered his spot with lead.

It is a change of tactics and perps will change their behavior. Hopefully it will reduce casualties by forcing more cornered perps to surrender, but they likewise be reluctant to give up hostages.

I guess Claire’s history lessons didn’t include the MOVE precedent. Wilson Goode, the first black mayor of Philadelphia, set a whole neighborhood on fire to take out the Africa family.
