'God's Not Dead 2' Billboard Nixed at GOP Convention After Being Called "Incendiary"

There will, however, be a billboard advertising atheism at the Republican National Convention, and more than 30 smaller, pro-atheist signs at the Democratic convention. Attendees arriving in Cleveland for the Republican National Convention next week will be greeted by a giant billboard with President Ronald Reagan’s image, quoting him saying, “We establish no religion in this country.” The sign was purchased by an atheist group called the Freedom From Religion Foundation.

What convention attendees won’t see, though, is an even larger sign with a pro-religion message that would have advertised the DVD release of God’s Not Dead 2. That’s because, after two months of back-and-forth with the movie’s distributor, the billboard company, Orange Barrel Media, may have deemed the Christian-sounding messaging needlessly provocative.

The sign, which would have measured 32 feet by 60 feet, would have draped down one side of a large building in downtown Cleveland and was to feature a picture of Melissa Joan Hart, who plays a teacher in trouble for invoking scripture in the classroom. Alongside the image of the actress was the text: “I’d rather stand with God and be judged by the world than stand with the world and be judged by God.”

FWIW, this does not appear to indict the GOP in this decision, but rather an anti-Christian advertising firm that owns billboard space.

And yet BLM makes sense?
Pray for meteor

How sweet it would be for attendees to wear shirts with this image on it.

Some people (a lot of people?) at the RNC seem to have their crania in rectal defilade.

Christian themed billboards tend not to be incendiary. Zoroastrian themed billboards... different story.

"Needlessly provocative?"

How presumptuous is that?

Not the RNC, the owners of the billboard.

There must be more than one billboard company in Cleveland.

Go to the competitors and buy the billboard space.

Problem solved.

Given that the Republican party's* mask has fallen off, revealing them to be the same as the Democrats**, this is zero surprise to me.

* - At least the leadership/high-influence types.
** - They're Uniparty, globalists... why do you think they are both trying to prevent Trump so hard?

100 religions all claiming passionately that their god is the one true god. You’d think this was a BBQ cookoff.

If God is too incendiary for the Goop then maybe they should be the ones to shut down.

That billboard is exactly the kind of message Americans need to see and embrace.

Once Trump cripples the American left, the next task will be for Godly men to return America to Christ. Our laws have to be made to once again comport with God’s Law. Our institutions must once again be in the firm control of Christians.

We must stop the spread of ungodliness. It all began in earnest when the atheistic left banned God from our schools and started filling children’s heads with secularism, “comparative cultural studies,” evolution, “women’s studies,” globe Earth theories, relativism, mystical theoretical physics, New Age philosophy, yoga, meditation, the Big Bang and other ideas cooked up in the pits of Hell.

The fool says in his heart, “there is no God”. Psalm 14:1

The Republicans should have Father Emmanuel Lemelson (”Trump’s Orthodox Priest”) give an invocation at the Convention:
