If that happened, the police would be intent on stopping the spread of crime to other neighborhoods.

The end result would be cries that the police are racist for NOT policing their neighborhoods.

and the incarceration rates would remain largely similar because the places to be a successful criminal would be policed. But the crime rates in the non policed neighborhoods would skyrocket. It would be like the worst of south side Chicago times a thousand. Or, maybe a better analogy is the no go police zones in Paris.

It utter stupidity. And the solutions being offered will only lead to more problems.

Get every officer wearing a body cam. Make it law that all body cam video involved in criminal investigations is required to be available to the press and the public.
