What’s happening is Newt will be Trump’s Chief of Staff or a high ranking cabinet official.

“It’s happening!”

I’m actually tearing up. I know some Freepers won’t forgive Newt but he is the only one that knows the complete Clinton history and run circles around that witch no matter what she spews.

Maybe. Maybe not. Trump said the other day Newt woukd definitely have a job in the administration So there would be a conflict of interest no matter which position.

Once Newt is named as running mate, FOX must cut ties as “contributor” with him, per FCC regulations, or, offer equal time to Hilary’s VP choice.

It’s the law.

Stelter clarifies on Twitter:

“I don’t think “Fox suspending Newt” automatically =’s “Newt will be VP.” It means Fox had to address this conflict”

I like Newt, but Newt led the free trade movement. I think Newt is smart enough to look around and see what happened. But regardless, Trump needs to avoid being overly influenced by Newt on Trade.

But Newt also wanted to impeach wayward judges. I think Newt needs to be given whatever resources he needs to make that happen.

Really? They can’t wait a week to see who Trump picks for VP? If not Newt then a non issue.

Funny, I just saw Newt on Fox about 10 minutes ago.

I would be Trump won’t be VP or Chief of Staff. The latter is basically an appointment secretary, a job for a younger man. I don’t see him an administrator either. My bet is some kind of senior presidential advisor, like Valerie Jerrett.

I still hold out hope that Newt won't be VP.

Anyone that has read Trump's books knows that he values loyalty above all.

Here is the person who has been loyal and supportive for over 10 years:

The fact is Newt is the best choice to energize Republicans and deal with attacks from the left. Personal foibles aside, the man is brilliant.

Looks like everyone has Newtnesia here again. Let me jog your memory.

Newt Gingrich slammed ‘Fox & Friends’ for giving Donald Trump a massive platform http://www.aol.com/article/2016/02/23/newt-gingrich-slammed-fox-and-friends-for-giving-donald-trump-a/21317478/

Newt Gingrich: ‘If you are a normal white American ... you don’t understand being black in America’

Gingrich: Trump remarks about judge ‘mistake,’ ‘inexcusable’ http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/06/05/gingrich-trump-remarks-about-judge-mistake-inexcusable.html

Newt Gingrich kind of sounds like he agrees with Black Lives Matter https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/07/08/newt-gingrich-kind-of-sounds-like-he-agrees-with-black-lives-matter/

Cnn’s Stelter:

“Source w/knowledge of Fox deliberations says Gingrich is likely to remain off the Fox payroll whether he’s VP or not”

Maybe Fox just has an itchy trigger finger to boot the Newt?

Newt will not be VP because Newt is too valuable to Trump as his Chief of Staff.

I wish FOX would cut ties with a bunch of flannel mouthed pukes, I’m having to change the channel or hit the mute too often.

The excitement is building and, if it is Newt, he is someone who I have followed since the Clinton years. I consider him a hero and one of the true patriots of America.

Pssss! I think Sarah Palin’s influence had something to do with it, if Newt is picked.
