It is clear that JEB was supposed to lose and help Hillary Clinton become president. He was given almost $200 million and the support of the media and the Washington establishment.
And JEB thinks he lost because he was too conservative and "conservatism is temporarily dead".

Every simply daily encounter between white and black folks is now rippling with harsh negative overtones of nightly news stories. The reality of a nation out of control and about to explode permeates the mundane lives of “the little people.”
In the meantime career pols, the media and elites in general worry about abstractions like “conservatism.”
