White House: America asks too much from police
Washington Examiner ^ | 7/11/17 | Nicole Duran

President Obama thinks people ask too much of their police officers, and that the recent wave of deadly shootings will only end when society tackles underlying social and economic issues in minority communities, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Monday.

During his scheduled meeting Wednesday with police and community groups, Obama will ask "what are specific steps that we can take to address some these racial disparities in our criminal justice system that are persistent and measurable?" Earnest said. "But what are also some steps that we can take to do even more to support our men and women in uniform...?"

Obama frequently discusses the matter and brought it up in Warsaw, Poland, when he arrived there for a NATO summit before a black man killed five Dallas police in a racially motivated shooting spree, Earnest said.

Obama "has talked at length … about what a difficult job our men and women in uniform have — that too often we ask our men and women in uniform, police officers — to confront challenges and communities that the rest of us would just as soon forget," Earnest said.

Where has he been for 8 years? I can truly say I hate this statement more than anything this jug eared SOB has ever said. And that is a long goddam list.

First the President says the police are too aggressive, especially towards blacks. Now he says we ask too much of the police.

Does anyone see schizophrenia here?

Maybe - but it’s certainly true that, for seven years, America has askd too much from the White House.

What we wanted was a president, what we got was a criminal idiot.

Is this where Obama proposes a national police force to “relieve” the locals of some of the burden?

And we're going to ask for more. We're going to ask them to join us in resisting your goons with force if necessary.

“...Obama has talked at length....”

Do you know what that reminds me of? A really old episode of the Real McCoys, when Luke gets a tape recorder. And he is so enamored of it. And the family catches him, and someone makes a new recording that says: “This is Luke McCoy talkin,” and talkin’ and talkin’

Yep, Obama talkin’ and talkin’ and talkin’

First the President says the police are too aggressive, especially towards blacks. Now he says we ask too much of the police.

So I guess he wants to federalize the police force.....just so they have a bit more capacity....and to "help out" when needed.

What a piece work this president is.

I’ll be honest, it’s hard to believe local cops are not flat out refusing to assist the SS in providing venue/motorcade security. Even more so after the Dallas BLM terrorist attack on a dozen cops.

I just can’t believe people voted for this individual. Twice yet. Trump can’t get elected fast enough.

Guess the polling came back thumbs down on Obungo’s remarks Saturday afternoon. Now it’s time to muddy the waters with a nod in the direction of cops.

As is often said, ignore what they say; watch what they do. After the Dem convention, look for DoJ to announce an investigation of the Dallas PD. Gotta stir up black voter turnout - and gotta keep Obungo feeling relevant.

Don’t ask police to pull people over for a broken taillight.

Obama can ESAD.

On the plus side, poor wittle stompy foot has had to veer away from his script ever so slighlty. He know most law abiding citizens in this country blame and his reckless rhetoric for what is happening in this country.

I have no doubt he is dazed and confused because he is not viewed as a hero.
