While recently discussing how President Obamas relationship to Islam is undermining U.S. security, Fox News Bill OReilly offered up some strange analogies: Barack Obama has deep emotional ties to Islam. Now to some extent I can identify with Barack Obama on the religious issue. As a Roman Catholic I was appalled when the priest pedophilia scandal broke. Theres absolutely no excuse for the Catholic Church covering up many horrendous crimes
. However, like Barack Obama I do make the distinction between the faith and the people who abuse it.

“Deep emotional ties to Islam”
Most Islamic enemy agents do.
Who listens to this blowhard anymore?
I was watching that when his analogy train went off the tracks.
Pedophilia is a major departure from Catholic doctrine and teachings. Jihad is central to Islam.
O'Reilly is irrelevant now. He tends to apologize for muslims it seems to me.
Pedophilia is a major departure from Catholic doctrine and teachings.
not when the seminaries actively engage in recruiting homosexuals(they were/are not pedophiles) as ‘prime’ candidates, as they did in the late ‘60’s...
No, that’s bad behavior, not “doctrine and teachings”. In fact, it was open defiance of the rules they were told to live under, which said that homosexuals were not to be admitted to the priesthood.
I saw it as well...really pathetic.
Bad analogy.
The overwhelming majority of Catholics do not support Priests who are pedophiles.
The vast majority of Muslims at least acquiesce to other Muslims who are terrorists.
Bill O is as much as catholic as Porky Pig is a Muslim. This is a man who calls opponents of special rights to queers fanatics and who also attacks conservatives he doesn’t quite see eye to eye with (Nearly all of them)
Catholics do not want their kids abused by anyone.
Muzzies want to rule over everyone else (per their book).
Seems for every good point BOR makes, he erases it with ignorance, as in this example.
The guy who can’t tell the difference between a Falafel and a Loofah can’t tell the difference between Catholics and Muslims.
In fact, it was open defiance of the rules they were told to live under, which said that homosexuals were not to be admitted to the priesthood.
a ‘doctrine’ that is unenforceable amounts to no doctrine at all...
any doctrine is only as good as the malcontents who oppose it...
